Crushing Silver Dollar demand creates Golden Gate opportunity — and
now you can take advantage for as little as $129
Just a few months ago, Uncle Sam publically cried '
Uncle' — when the U.S. Mint admitted that it needed help keeping up with the record-smashing demand for its Silver Eagle dollars. The West Point Mint, which had exclusively struck these popular coins for the last decade, was simply too overwhelmed by the surge in public demand to keep up.
Where did Uncle Sam turn for help? To the prestigious U.S. Mint in San Francisco.
Starting at the end of May, the San Francisco Mint began to produce 2011 U.S. Silver Eagles to supplement the coins already being struck at West Point. But because the uncirculated Silver Eagle traditionally does not feature any mintmark, the coins are not able to be distinguished from each other once they are distributed to the public. At first, it appeared that their secret would forever remain hidden.
The Secret is Revealed
When the news broke, collectors went crazy! The opportunity to own the first U.S. Silver Eagle struck in San Francisco for over a decade was simply too exciting to ignore. But without a mintmark, how could these hot new coins ever be identified?
The answer is brilliantly simple.
As each sealed 500-coin Treasury 'monster box' is shipped from San Francisco, it bears a security strap identifying the mint location. Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) has announced that it would certify those coins as coming from San Francisco — but only if they are submitted in the sealed Treasury boxes as undisputable proof of their exciting pedigree. What's more, if the sealed boxes submitted were from the first 30 days of production, the coins would also earn the added certification as Early Release!
Absolutely PERFECT 2011 Early Release San Francisco U.S. Silver Eagles
In the midst of the frenzy caused by these historic new Silver Eagles, I scrambled to get my hands on a special cache of these history-making coins. Each NGC certified coin bears a special label featuring the Golden Gate Bridge with the special pedigree
"Struck at the San Francisco Mint". But it gets even better!
When inspected by the experts at NGC, a limited amount of these coins were certified as achieving the perfection grade of Mint State 70 Early Release - the absolute
pinnacle for this amazing new coin!
In real estate, the mantra we've all heard over and over is:
location, location, location.
For collectors, the Holy Grail is
Quality.
Collectors know quality and value go hand in hand. They always look for the highest grade they can find. The higher a coin's grade, the higher its value. Everything revolves around quality. That's why collectors will stop at nothing to get their hands on flawless specimens. Coins deemed worthy of a perfect MS70 grade!
In the rarified atmosphere of MS70, Silver Eagles have soared to market prices that can only be characterized as astounding. Here are just a few eye-popping examples:
1988 MS70 Silver Eagle $2,810
1991 MS70 Silver Eagle $3,690
1994 MS70 Silver Eagle $1,660
1996 MS70 Silver Eagle $5,340
It Just Keeps Getting Better
I was thrilled to lock up a guaranteed supply of Perfect Gem MS70 San Francisco Silver Eagles from a close contact of mine. (This is a coin you cannot buy directly from the U.S. Mint). But better yet, because we've secured the very first coins released from the San Francisco mint, they will have the value-enhancing "Early Release" designation.
What does "Early Release" mean? NGC designates only those
coins it certifies as having been released during the first 30 days of issue as Early Release. Collectors place a premium on these coins because they are struck from freshly made dies, which is thought to impart superior quality. Only a miniscule number of the mintage gets the Early Release pedigree.
More than 30 TIMES more Scarce!
The total mintage of 2011 U.S. Silver Eagles is on pace to reach a record 40 million. Many experts feel that as few as 3% of these coins will be certified as being struck in San Francisco. And the quantity of MS70s will only be a fraction of that!
These Coins Truly Have it All:
- FIRST TIME EVER that Mint State Silver Eagles have been certified as being struck at San Francisco.
- Early Release holder featuring a special Golden Gate Bridge pedigree label.
- PERFECT MS70 grade — the finest grade a coin can achieve!
- These certified 2011 S-Mint Silver Eagles will forever stand as one of the key coins in the 25-year Silver Eagle series — one that you know collectors will always be hunting for!
Three Easy Steps to Turbo-Charged Value:
Historically, the combined impacts of a special mint, perfection MS70 grade, and Early Release pedigree have turbo-charged a coin's value when taken together.
Consider the example of the
2006 U.S. Silver Eagle:
- 2006 Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Eagle currently has a $50 value.
- With a MS70 Grade, the value jumps up to $125.
- With an added special mintmark pedigree (W) the value soars to $630 — that's over TWELVE TIMES the value of the ungraded coin!
If there ever was a 'San Francisco Treat'
® for collectors — this is it!
